John and James Wegner are natives of “America’s Dairyland”. They’re also “Xennial” brothers bound by blood. Together, they make up the formidable writing duo Forgature. They’ve been crafting unique reading experiences since they started school. Their debut novel is a nobledark and quest fantasy one that shakes hands with edginess. And they joined forces with independent hybrid publisher Defiance Press & Publishing to bring it to you.

 

John has a BBA degree in MIS and James has one in Finance (Concentration: Investment Management). They each also have an AAS degree in Medical Administrative Assistant. These degrees sharpened their writing skills like fraternal twin blades. Their love of media is a major inspiration for their storytelling. And the occasional cup of coffee, tea, and an adult beverage fuels these adventures.

 

James also has some other writing credits under his belt. His short story “A Gift from Those Most Dear” was published in the Creative Wisconsin Literary Journal (June 1, 2015, edition). His poem “A Time for War, a Time for Peace” was also published in this journal (December 1, 2014, edition). And his two greeting card poems “Another Hill” and “My Greatest Choice” have also been selected out of hundreds of submissions for a market review at Blue Mountain Arts.
